I am interesting to find a competent crew and racing partner. Someone who likes fast speeds and can handle the crew logistics might be interested in a $20K partnership or I would even sell the boat $40K. There are no slip fees since I keep the boat at my house, and I am willing to finance.
This boat requires a certain dinghy racing/beach cat skill to sail it safely and would necessitate a certain amount of training from me. I have won two years as CBYRA's Hi Point champion and also hold the Governers Cup course record.

I am a mid 30's passionate sailor and professional engineer who has partnered on a 36' boat for the past 6 years. Exploring the idea of partnering with a like-minded sailor in the purchase of a 40' boat. The Sabre 402 is at the top of my short list with other similar size models (386/425/426) of interest as well as Tartans in the same size range (3700/4100).
Due to the time demands of a professional career I believe a partnership is an excellent way to keep a boat looked after, moving, and spread the financial commitment among passionate sailors who otherwise my not take the leap alone. I am a very hand-on mechanical person and realize the boats of most interest to me will require some level of refitting and am happy to undertake projects.
Interested in cruising and casual racing with local RI clubs. Lots to discuss in the idea of a partnership but looking to start the conversation!

Classic 1981 C&C 40-2 tall rig - deep 7'6" draft , most of the vessel has been fully refit and like new condition.
Well over 125K invested the last 4 years alone . After 50 years of sailing since age 3 I think I am ready to move forward with a powerboat . "Double Black" is a gem in all respects and NOT at all a project boat.
This is a great opportunity for an offshore ready machine with very little that needs to be done to go anyplace & a great boat for a young family . We also had a great racing record over the 13 years I had her as did the previous owner that owned her for almost 25 years.
Well over 125K invested the last 4 years alone . After 50 years of sailing since age 3 I think I am ready to move forward with a powerboat . "Double Black" is a gem in all respects and NOT at all a project boat.

The boat is equipped with new halyards, jib and main sheets, wireless anemometer and instruments. New cushions and pedestal cover.
She is ideal for weekend or for racing. Designed by Ron Holland. Fractional Rig, rod rigging.
The engine is in a good shape 21HP Universal engine. Boat with a nice cabin with lots of storage.

You can list your boat for sale by owner on Coboaters dedicated page. It is easy and fast. Boats for sale listings will be visible by all members and even by non-members visiting Coboaters website. You can describe everything about your boat including boat descriptions and you can load pictures to your boat listing.
The best way to start is to create a profile with your sailing resume and to create a boat prodile with as many pictures as you can. You can then publish a notice to sell your sailboat or to sell your powerboat. You can list as many boats for sale as you want.
Boat prices will be visible as as well as the desription, the brand, the mdel and the year. It will look like a very professional boat for sale listing.
People like to see boats for sale by owners because they think it will be easier to negotiate prices and that buyer will not neet to pay a boat broker commission.
