Looking for crew to join for the 2025 sailing season. Various events, typically weekend regattas and some cruises. Based near Annapolis, MD, but will travel all over the Chesapeake Bay and sometimes beyond. At this time I have enough crew new to sailing signed up, and now looking for crew to join with more experience to balance skills. Full and fun schedule.

Ideally I am seeking people with excellent team attitudes that have a common love of the water and sailing. Some prior sailing experience is desirable but not completely necessary.

I am currently seeking crew members to race aboard my Beneteau First 36.7 Relentless during the 2025 season. Relentless is berthed at the East Greenwich YC.

I’ve shifted from spinnaker class racing to cruising class racing on weekends on Narragansett Bay and Block Island Sound.

I have posted pictures of Relentless, the 2025 racing schedule, my profile and vessel details for your review.

          RACING SAILBOATS LOOKING FOR CREW

This lisitng includes racing boats who need crew for the season, for a weekend, for a specific race or regatta. You may find a way to gain more experience by joining a race and sail with experience skipper and other crew members.

Skippers who sail oftne always need cew to complete their roster and to make sure they can join all sailboat racing opportunities in their area.

Do you need be an experienced sailor to join a racing boat?

The simple answer is Not Necessarly. A lot of boats welcome beginners on board as long as they are willing to participate activiely and ready to become part of the racing team and group. It is great way to improve your skills quickly because you will sail often and in may different weather. Regattas offer great chance to sail on different sailboats and to meet other racers.

Go ahead. Go sailing. Go sailboat racing!
