NOTICES for Boats and Crew opportunities

I am looking for crew to move my Passport 40 from Vero Beach FL to Salem MA. Due to nature of this passage and time of year it will be accomplished by making 2-3 day offshore & coastal passages making it somewhat ideal for those who cannot spare the time for the whole trip, I cannot however offer specific dates for the various ports where crew changes are possible as the early spring weather will dictate sailing days. Unless you are very flexible with your time I prefer crew to commit to whole trip.

This trip is ideal for someone looking to experience a portion of the ICW from Beaufort NC to Norfolk VA (200 miles sailing and motoring) and coastal/offshore passages of 1-3 nights. This passage can depending on weather be done in 14 days but again because of weather more likely 3-4 weeks.

No offshore experience required, however you should know how much motion affects you and know how to control it.

We are two adventures (23F, 32M) looking for third person to sail the world with. With 5 years of cruising under our belts, and our new our new boat finishing renovations, we are looking for a third person to join us.

Our boat: We are finishing a complete rebuild of our 41ft ketch. The boat has been designed to be capable of comfortably disconnecting from land. We have over 1kw of solar, new masts with sails, watermaker, repowered motor, a completely gutted electrical system with 9000w of inverted power, and all the 'creature comforts' we could think of. The renovations were designed to make the boat as safe as possible for offshore and rough weather sailing with a fully enclosed cockpit where almost all lines are run and in mast furling. We are equip with Epirps, Inreach, AIS, radar, and many other emergency systems. We upgraded the boat from single-sideband to Starlink for offshore communication abilities.

Our trip:

We are splashing the boat shortly (though we can accommodate new crew prior to the splash as we still liveaboard our first vessel). We will be departing out of Norfolk after extensive seatrials and expect a 10-14 day sail to St.Thomas, USVI's. While we would welcome a sailor who only wants to do the trip there, we ideally would love someone who would want to continue to sail the world beyond the first destination. After about a year (hurricane season dependent) in the Caribbean we are beginning the trip to Southeast Asia.

How we sail:

We believe in safety at the forefront and our phrase to crew is "we want to come home too", we never make a decision that would place ourselves and our crew in danger. We are comfortable in all safely navigable seastates and have built a boat that shares that description.

About us:

We love to be outdoors. We enjoy hiking, beach camping, snorkeling (and are anticipating becoming scuba certified.) Outside of our boat life we love to ride motorcycles. We look forward to beach parties and exploring the city life of all the places we travel.

He is a marine technical engineer with vast experience working on all systems on vessels, power and sail.

We have a calm labrador who loves lounging on the foredeck.

While not anal retentive, we do enjoy a clean ship and expect our crew to be mindful.

Our crew:

We are looking for someone ready for adventure. Sailing experience is not required as long as you are grounded in understanding what offshore sailing can entail, we are always excited to teach. We are looking for a sailing partner more than crew, so who ever joins us can expect to be valued and respected as such. We are not looking for a "employee" or "volunteering crew" as we want to share this adventure more than we want someone to labor for us. We are introverted-extroverts so we mesh well with most kind personalities.
We are working on a documentary (we are NOT a sailing channel... no one would care what we do everyday) so any one interested in film is encouraged to climb aboard.

I am looking for one or two crew or a couple for day and weekends. Trip of two or three days at a time from Camden, Maine to nearby destinations and back.

The boat is very well maintained and I have a lot of experience but need help to handle lines.

I will pay $600 per night for an individual or a couple.

Departure dates for this summer 2025 are flexible but this is what I would like to do:

Ideally I am seeking people with excellent team attitudes that have a common love of the water and sailing. Some prior sailing experience is desirable but not completely necessary.

Dates are approximate. Looking for crew familiar with the transit of the East River, in NYC, from the Battery to the Long Island Sound (Hell Gate)

I need a crew for sailing to Catalina and around Long Beach, CA

I'd like to find a partner to start sailing locally on short trips to the Bahamas or Dry Tortugas. If things go well we could plan some longer trips to other parts of the Caribbean or possibly cross the Atlantic to cruise the Med.

I have thousands and thousands of cruising miles and don't mind an inexperienced person. I can patiently train. The most important thing cruising is how we get along.

Hello. I am looking for a crew member for a long trip. Departure in September from Bellingham WA to France (Mediterranean), via Panama. Trip duration 10 months (including weather waiting periods). A one-month prologue is scheduled for August to familiarize ourselves with the boat and, above all, to get to know and appreciate each other. Food and consumables to be shared. I am seeking expression of interest from competent crews to sail the Gulf of Bothnia 2025.
You will be sailing on a Mariner36 Mast rigged Sloop built in the US 1980, she is well fitted out and has comfortable space for 3 persons with each person his/hers own bunk. The language spoken on the yacht is English. I intend to start the sail mid-June and end mid-September. We are seeking one Competent Crew to sail with us from Luleå to Båtskärsnäs. We will be sailing in the most northern part of the Gulf, Swedish and Finish archipelago.
We are eating well onboard, a varied diet of fish, meat and fowls together with vegetable and salads.
We will be using a mixture of anchorages, pontoons in nature harbors and marinas. Marinas mainly for provisioning.

A successful crew will be required to have a face to face contact before agreeing to crew.

Looking for able-bodied sailor or deck hand and helmsman for an approximate 4-day cruise from Cape Fear to Cape Cod on this Hanse 588... anticipate a total crew of 4 including the captain. (Which we already have).
Captain provides meals and drinks while on board. Prefer those that have offshore, overnight experience at the helm. Formal training either via the ASA schools or RYA also preferred. Each crewmember has their own cabin. Per diem offered with limited travel budget.
