Husband, father of 2 girls. Not a life long sailor, but I will sail for the rest of my life. I really want to gain some blue water experience, overnight sailing. My goal is to get the skills and confidence to make long passages myself.

For the first time in many years, I find myself without a boat (do have a kayak!). After weekend and vacation sailing on a monohull, I lived on a catamaran from 2006-2020 about 9 months of every year. Cruised east coast north to Rhode Island and south to islands. Currently spend most of my time in Marathon, FL and some in PA where I sail in the Chesapeake when there is an opportunity.

Earlier in life I had extensive sailing and racing experience on the Chesapeake Bay. Now retired I have the time and resources to get back into something I had a passion for. Interested in day trips and very interested in sailing opportunities in the Caribbean.
