Crew Wanted! Cruise, Trip - United States dest. US Virgin Islands
United States
3/26/2025
US Virgin Islands
2/1/2026
We are two adventures (23F, 32M) looking for third person to sail the world with. With 5 years of cruising under our belts, and our new our new boat finishing renovations, we are looking for a third person to join us.
Our boat: We are finishing a complete rebuild of our 41ft ketch. The boat has been designed to be capable of comfortably disconnecting from land. We have over 1kw of solar, new masts with sails, watermaker, repowered motor, a completely gutted electrical system with 9000w of inverted power, and all the 'creature comforts' we could think of. The renovations were designed to make the boat as safe as possible for offshore and rough weather sailing with a fully enclosed cockpit where almost all lines are run and in mast furling. We are equip with Epirps, Inreach, AIS, radar, and many other emergency systems. We upgraded the boat from single-sideband to Starlink for offshore communication abilities.
Our trip:
We are splashing the boat shortly (though we can accommodate new crew prior to the splash as we still liveaboard our first vessel). We will be departing out of Norfolk after extensive seatrials and expect a 10-14 day sail to St.Thomas, USVI's. While we would welcome a sailor who only wants to do the trip there, we ideally would love someone who would want to continue to sail the world beyond the first destination. After about a year (hurricane season dependent) in the Caribbean we are beginning the trip to Southeast Asia.
How we sail:
We believe in safety at the forefront and our phrase to crew is "we want to come home too", we never make a decision that would place ourselves and our crew in danger. We are comfortable in all safely navigable seastates and have built a boat that shares that description.
About us:
We love to be outdoors. We enjoy hiking, beach camping, snorkeling (and are anticipating becoming scuba certified.) Outside of our boat life we love to ride motorcycles. We look forward to beach parties and exploring the city life of all the places we travel.
He is a marine technical engineer with vast experience working on all systems on vessels, power and sail.
We have a calm labrador who loves lounging on the foredeck.
While not anal retentive, we do enjoy a clean ship and expect our crew to be mindful.
Our crew:
We are looking for someone ready for adventure. Sailing experience is not required as long as you are grounded in understanding what offshore sailing can entail, we are always excited to teach. We are looking for a sailing partner more than crew, so who ever joins us can expect to be valued and respected as such. We are not looking for a "employee" or "volunteering crew" as we want to share this adventure more than we want someone to labor for us. We are introverted-extroverts so we mesh well with most kind personalities.
We are working on a documentary (we are NOT a sailing channel... no one would care what we do everyday) so any one interested in film is encouraged to climb aboard.

Alimos Municipality, Grèce
5/17/2025
EXPLORE DREAMS in GREECE
NOTE- only one share with male available on the 3rd boat. 24 crew are signed up. If you have a group get in touch, and we can set up a fourth boat.
The Saronic Gulf is located between Athens and the coast of the Argolid Peninsula. This area is highly recommended for it’s proximity to Athens, making it an ideal spot for travelers arriving via the Athens International Airport. Within a few hours of landing, you can be swimming and relaxing on board, having reached your first destination. Another advantage is that the area is well protected from the annual Meltemi winds, which can blow strongly in July and August and can create challenging conditions.
This trip has become a favorite sailing destination for Joyride Charters. We've done it numerous times!. Sailing from Alimos Marina (Athens) is a perfect way to discover the Saronic islands. We visit the lovely islands of Aegina, Dokos, Poros, Spetses, and Hydra, including Ermioni and Epidaurus on the Peloponnese.
Explore each stop with an e-bike or 4-wheeler (extra charge) or your two feet!
Each day we make time for swim stops, sailing, and getting quayside early enough for you to explore the quaint seaside towns, shop, and we’ll dine as a group in some of the best restaurants in the world! Sit along a seaside cliff restaurant and watch a beautiful sunset.
Includes all breakfasts and lunches. Fresh bread and greek baked goods delivered each day! Enjoy dining together at local authentic tavernas.
Our large catamaran has plenty of space and all the modern conveniences. All cabins are private doubles with private heads.
